At last the ryujinku.com website has had an update! It has been an old html site for quite some time – and ironic since Lynda Sensei is a web designer!

This new website has an inbuilt email system and we will gradually add all of our previous newsletter subscribers. previous members and current members into the system. The old newsletters have gone to cyber heaven – the plan is to keep these newsletters coming with updates from Japan and the Gold Coast!

Meanwhile – for those who haven’t seen much of us of late – here are a few updates:

Phoenix (Lynda Sensei) is living full time in Japan (just coming home every three months for visa requirements) and having her there is very handy for students looking to experience training in Japan! We help you with accommodation, transport, food, bikes, dojo matters, and all aspects of getting around! For 20,000 yen, Phoenix will even come pick you up from the airport (it’s about 30,000 yen for a limo or cab) – although getting to Noda by train is very easy as well!

So far Felicity (Raven), Sam H, Shane, Gael, Alex and Yusuke have been (Yusuke twice now) – each being awarded their 1st Dan Black Belt in the process! (Getting the 1st Dan for visiting Japan is not guaranteed, and you don’t have to go to Japan to get dan gradings – just to be clear)! Previously, Scott (Ryctor), Adam and Grant went with us back in 2011. Adam doesn’t live in Australia any more, but all the others are still training (maybe not that regularly and not necessarily on the Gold Coast!).

Yusuke will be graded to 2nd Dan upon his return to Australia! We need to make some more 2nd Dan’s and progress some students through to doing their Godan test. There are no shortcuts to the Godan test – you must be ready and only training can achieve that. However, for the first time, we believe we have students who will both be ninja (nin = perseverance) and be capable of avoiding the sword without doing anything themselves (except keep training!)!

The dojo in Burleigh Heads has been transformed into a Ninja Warrior Fitness personal training studio and will host the “G-Core” fitness brand as well – in case you don’t know – G7, or Garrison 7, is being produced by Scott and his film production company Gena8 Studios. The fitness training component is called G-Core. Ryujin (Mark Sensei) is the head trainer and you will find the training to be very ninja orientated. Currently Ryujin is training some people who are interested in competing in the Ninja Warrior series, as well as all of the actors involved in G7. If you are interested in doing any personal training with him, get in contact!

As the subscriptions are added to the email system you will be able to unsubscribe easily enough by following theĀ links on the emails!
